Masala Puri
🤗 My innovative snack during lockdown2020
2 cups flour
2 tbsp oil
1 cup lukewarm water
1 level tsp turmeric
1 level tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
2 tablespoons of fenugreek/methi
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Add the oil in the flour, I used elephant atta medium wheat flour. Rub the oil in evenly with your fingertips.
Add all the dry ingredients and mix
Use the lukewarm water to bind the dough. The amount of water is dependent on type of flour, room humidity etc, so add as needed.
Roll out the puris, 'fry' them in airfryer for 8 mins at 180 degrees C.
NB: These taste like savoury wheat crackers.
